About Us

Katarina’s Coffee Shop is a family-owned and operated local café featuring our flavourful homemade food, drinks and desserts. We offer a variety of Kawartha Dairy ice cream, freshly baked pastries and desserts, various paninis, hot drinks and classic specialty coffee.

Our little shop started out as a Supertest Gas station back in the 1950’s.

After a decade or so it was taken over by the Leider family and became an office location, hosting real estate, law firms, accounting offices and even various cafes and tea rooms over a number of years. For some time it was a popular licensed bar and in early 2005 it’s transformation to an ice cream & coffee shop began

Established as Katarina’s Coffee Shop in 2014, we’re located in Prescott, Ontario right on Highway 2 at the corner by Kelly’s Beach, making it a perfect destination while on the road to enjoy some local food and scenic views with our seasonal patio.

Members of Prescott Council and the business community welcomed Katarina’s Coffee Shop new business owner Nicole Hudson to Downtown Prescott on July 17, 2020.  Located at 513 King St. W, Katarina’s Coffee Shop serves a delicious array of pre-made lunch & dinner items, desserts, specialty hot and cold beverages and amazing ice cream!

“We’re very excited to welcome the return of Katarina’s Coffee Shop to Downtown Prescott, under new ownership by Nicole Hudson!  Katarina’s has become a seasonal staple in our community that provides a wonderful variety of food, beverages and treats to community members and visitors” said Brett Todd, Town of Prescott Mayor.

New owner Nicole Hudson and her friendly staff, look forward to delighting customers with their amazing selection of items to satisfy every possible craving and were happy to announce that the shop will now be open year round!
